Finally, I found someone who’s saying that live shows aren’t that important. Sayzee had a some ideas that fly in the face of the common consensus that I get when I ask different artists the same question, and it made for a great interview. We also talk about his new release “Sun is Out” with Tona, his recent string of solo work, his writing process (or lack thereof), self recording, rhyming on beats by the Alchemist and beats made for Drake, and the benefits of reaching out to other artists for collaboration, plus all sorts of other important stuff.
