For episode 153 I talked with Sayzee, back for his fourth round on the show after a busy slow summer. We talked about about Kardinal Offishall name-checking him in his top Canadian rappers on Rory & MAL, YFRWN 11, the eleventh Your Favourite Rapper's Worst Nightmare, Ghosts, the single he just dropped with Junk over Imperetiv production, Sunna, the cinematic collab album he made with Tona this summer, Dillin Hoox and how Let 'Em Talk quietly became his biggest song, the gym playlist songs blowing up under a different name, selling beats and moving into producing, Jay-Z picking himself to headline the Super Bowl halftime show, and a bunch of other really important stuff.
Hit follow on Youtube and Twitch. One day I’ll hit 1000 followers and be able to monetize this show, but it’s still a long road to get there. Twitch subscriptions help keep the lights on, and you get a free one if you link your Amazon Prime to you your Twitch account, so use that to support your favourite streamer each month.
Listen to the audio only version of this episode exclusively at https://www.mixcloud.com/doobyis - where you will also find ongoing weekly mixes of 100% Canadian new release Hip Hop on my show "After the Smoke Is Clear" (#ATSIC) - each episode is followed by an interview with an artist, tap in and support the scene.
These interviews happen Tuesdays on Twitch - come by and catch them live, or watch them a couple days later on Youtube.

Also, check out the After the Smoke is Clear archives for hour-long mixes covering the best new Hip Hop across Canada. New episodes drop Mondays and/or Thursdays. It’s the only place you can catch the Fly in Formation interviews in audio form, so I suggest getting the free Mixcloud app.
