Fly In Formation 151 - Thomas Quinlan
The boss of Hand’Solo Records is back! For episode 151 I had a great conversation with Thomas Quinlan, reflecting on his 30 years of running a Toronto indie rap label. For the first time on FiF, we did a track by track walk through of all 21 songs on the newly released "Bassments of Badmen 4" with Thomas giving his thoughts from the Executive Producer chair. We also talked about the anniversary tour he organized this summer with Moka Only, Epic, and Mickey O'Brien - the first coast to coast tour he's been part of, with 10 stops in 11 days. We talked about vinyl pricing and profit margins, art for the sake of art, what albums are up next for the label, and a bunch of other really important stuff.

Hit follow on Youtube and Twitch. One day I’ll hit 1000 followers and be able to monetize this show, but it’s still a long road to get there. Twitch subscriptions help keep the lights on, and you get a free one if you link your Amazon Prime to you your Twitch account, so use that to support your favourite streamer each month.

These interviews happen Tuesdays on Twitch - come by and catch them live, or watch them a couple days later on Youtube.
