Fly In Formation 144 - Myer Clarity & Fresh Kils
144 marked the third appearance of both Myer Clarity & Fresh Kils on Fly In Formation. They both had good things to say about one another in the earlier episodes, and i bet they even teased this album some place in there - one way or the other I’ve known their collab album has been coming for a while now. This was a combo that makes sense, and Fresh Kils as the pad smashing meastro really brought some great bars out of MC. Their combined powers of obsessive compulsive disorder resulted in a finely tuned, sequenced, polished masterpiece, complete with skits! We talked about the creation process, who did what, the reception, the tour and the individual secret tracks on the vinyl, tape, and cd versions. We even talked about the upcoming deluxe re-release version, which sounds like it’ll include as many new songs as Clarity can get out of Klls. We also talked about the Grammys, the Junos, how many categories there should be for different lanes of Hip Hop, the difference between collabs where it’s just bars and collabs with a specific topic, the need for me to become a promoter and start booking shows, and a bunch of other really important stuff.
